Yasmine Berbir is the Head of Sustainability for Nestlé in the Middle East and North Africa, a post she took on in March 2021. In her current role, she is responsible for implementing Nestlé’s Net Zero Emissions Roadmap across the region. Berbir first joined Nestlé in 2004 as Channel Category Sales Development Manager, and promoted to Modern Trade Channel Manager in 2008, becoming the first female at Nestlé in the region to hold a senior sales leadership position. She then assumed the role of General Business Manager for Nestlé in Lebanon for 5 years before taking on the same role in the United Arab Emirates in 2016. Yasmine is a member of the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network, is a member in the CEO Council of the UAE Food & Beverage Manufacturers Group, and a member of the UAE’s “Coalition of Innovation in Recycling towards a Closed Loop Economy.” She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing from the American University of Beirut.
