
Sam Gill
Sam joined Meat and Livestock Australia in 2004 and has worked in several roles from managing Australia’s sheep and beef genetic programs, developing a national red meat digital strategy and creating large-scale ag-tech research programs.
Before taking up his current role of MENA Regional Manager, Sam had led the business development initiatives for MLA in the MENA region, and the associated communication and marketing programs to support them.
Sam is enjoying the experience of living in Dubai with his wife and three children, having moved from a farming town in rural Australia in 2017.
He aims to share his understanding of Australian food production from farm to fork to grow awareness, encourage and support the foodservice industry to put True Aussie beef and lamb on menus and promote to consumers its delicious, high quality and ethical production values.
