Lamia Fakhr is the Corporate Affairs Director, of the Middle East North Africa, and Turkey at Kellogg, one of the biggest American multinational food-manufacturing companies in the world.
In her capacity, Mrs. Fakhr is leading the development and implementation of the regional corporate affairs strategic plans covering all different workstreams in the corporate affairs function (Public Affairs and government relations, External Communications, Internal Communications, Brand PR & CSR). Leading on the sustainability and philanthropic agenda in the region. She is also a member of the Kellogg MENAT Leadership Team working closely with the Board of Directors, and a Board member of the Kellogg Egypt Business entities.
Mrs. Lamia is communications professional with almost 20 years of experience, in diversified industries, markets, and regions. Throughout her career, she has led and managed complex strategic projects contributing to the progress of organizations’ corporate leadership and sustainable business growth. Crisis management, cultural change, leadership counseling, change management, and post-acquisition integration and transformation are an integral part of her career expertise. Mrs. Lamia is a designated media trained spokesperson, public speaker and a WOK (Women Of Kellogg) passionate leader for Kellogg MENAT.
Over the course of her career, she held senior positions across several leading multinational companies in different industries including Nortel Networks, Electrolux Egypt, and finally BP North Africa before joining Kellogg’s team in 2016. Her experience was not limited to multinational corporations only, Mrs. Fakhr has remarkable expertise in the NGO and community development field through her work at Ma3an NGO specialized in developing slums, as well as teaching Public Relations and Corporate affairs in Misr International University.
Mrs. Fakhr holds a B.A in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
