Ian Aplin is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Brunel University, West London, UK. From joining Spirax Sarco, UK in 1994 as a Product Design Engineer, Ian has held multiple positions within Spirax including General Management Positions in Singapore, Japan and Italy. Ian is currently the EMEA Business Development Manager and is responsible for enabling new growth in our Food & Beverage , Hospital and Pharmaceuticals Markets. “I have had an interesting and varied career both in terms of my roles and the locations that I have lived and worked in. Throughout this time I have retained a passion for the effective performance of our steam systems and the industries that we server; Food, Hospitals and Pharmaceutical Industries having worked in. I am currently leading an exciting project in EMEA to enable our physical services with new digital services. As we bring these services to the market we will be able to further create sustainable value for our customers and allowing us to engineer a safer, efficient and more sustainable world.”
