
Amal Al Ahmadi
Amal Al Ahmadi is the head of the research and development section at the Ministry of Climate change and Environment. In addition to her R&D mandate, Amal also a member of the general secreteriate of the Emirates Food Security Council, the lead of several key projects at the Ministry such as food loss and waste initiatives and programs, and several international relation portfolios. Amal received her BSc in biology from the University of New Brunswick and her MSc in Molecular Genetics from the University of Leicester. In between the scientific driven education, Amal worked as an International Partnerships Executive at the former Ministry of Development and International Cooperation. In addition, Amal just finalized her second master degree in public policy in science and technology, at the Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government, to further bridge data driven science with high impact policies
